Course Overview
- Duration: about 2 to 3 hours
- Does not need to be taken in one sitting. NOTE: Try not leave the course on a Knowledge Check question. If you do, the course may freeze up when you come back to it.
- 25-question assessment: 80% or better to pass course. Take assessment as many times as you need. NOTE: After passing the course, you still need to take the state certificate exam at your ABC/RBS portal account.
- Be sure you can receive email from [email protected] (if you don’t see email from us, please check your spam and junk folders).
- For any technical issues, please look in the “What should I do if I have technical difficulties” section on our FAQ page.
ID Number & Certificate Exam
- After completing this course (including the assessment at the end), you still need to take the State Certificate Exam at your ABC/RBS portal account at abcbiz.abc.ca.gov.
- If you do not have a portal account, register as a server at abcbiz.abc.ca.gov to get your server ID number. You cannot be RBS certified and we cannot confirm your training with the state unless you have a portal account and an ID number.
- Once you have passed the course, we will confirm your training at the ABC/RBS portal. This will give you access to the State Certificate Exam. You must pass with a score of 70% or better and take the exam within 30 days of passing the course. You will have up to three attempts to pass the exam.
